One in the 'Unser racing dynasty'. Bobby’s uncle Louis won Pikes Peak hill-climb nine times, his brother Al and nephew Al Junior have also achieved enormous success in USAC/Indy Car racing. Bobby has a total of 35 Indy Car victories. He is one of seven drivers to win the Indianapolis 500 three times, and one of only two to have won the 500 in three different decades (1968, 75, 81). Bobby is brother to Al and Jerry Unser, father of Robby Unser and uncle of Al Unser, Jr and Johnny Unser.
