Born and still living close to the Zandwoort track
In 1999 Jan Lammers started his own Sportcar team, Racing for Holland.
In 2002 and 2003 he earned the FIA Awards for his world championships in the Sportscar series.
Since 2005 Jan Lammers is also team owner of the Dutch A1 Grandprix team.
Jan has the record for most missed races, 162 (from Le Castellet 1982 to Suzuka 1992, or 3745 days)
