Still in sports cars & media. He released a book about his life in 2003 "Flat Out, Flat Broke" where he also reveled that he was "The Stig" in BBC motoring entertainment programme Top Gear. Tested for both Williams and Benetton during the 1990s. He was denied a permanent role as test driver at Benetton because he was covering for their normal test driver, Alessandro Zanardi.
